Creaternity

Creaternity at Luleå University of Technology is a cross-disciplinary initiative driving sustainable digitalisation and circular material use.

This conference is free of charge and takes place 20-24 March, right before SPS2026, which makes it a good idea to combine along with your visit to Luleå.

By bringing together researchers from more than 30 different fields, Creaternity tackles complex sustainability challenges in industry. Through close collaboration with industry and society, the initiative develops technologies and solutions for smarter material flows, reduced environmental impact, and human-centred, resilient systems.

Discover Northern Sweden and the Arctic

Northern Sweden is undergoing a major industrial and societal transformation, with over SEK 1 trillion in planned investments.

As a hub for fossil-free steel, electrification, and circular value chains, the region is central to global sustainability and national resilience.

This transforming Arctic region offers unique opportunities for research and collaboration – where innovation, transition, and nature meet, from cutting-edge industry to Luleå’s archipelago of more than 1,000 islands.
